1923 - The Junior League of Jacksonville was formed
1925 - The League was incorporated under Florida State Law on January 25th. Seventeen members signed the original charter
1927 - Paid supervisor was hired for Day Nursery and a house was purchased as permanent center
League Looks originated
1932 - Well Baby Clinic - food, service and pre-natal care given
1934- First Junior League Follies took place
1938 - Scribblers, a creative writing group was formed
1940 - Equipped and help maintain Girls' Ward at Hope Haven Hospital
Milk fun for babies established
Children's Theatre play reached 3,000 children
1941-45 - League members active in Defense work - very involved in Red Cross, Community Chest, Blanket Drive, Filter Center and Civilian Defense
Radio program presented to improve public relations and for entertainment - a fifteen minute radio program, "Playtime Express" featured children's plays
1946 - The Junior League Thrift Shop was formed
1947 - The Jacksonville Children's Museum was taken on a demonstration basis
1949 - The Speech Correction Clinic was established
